Mrs. Maybelline Harper Moses, age 76, of Sanford, N.C., died Sunday, February 24, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Johnston County, N.C. on November 6, 1936, to the late Bertie Mae Harper Langdon. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Harper Patterson; granddaughter, Amy Leigh Ross; grandson, Jeremy Preston Moses and brother, Bobby Ray Harper, Sr. and his wife Judy. Mrs. Moses worked in the tool room and retired from GKN.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbur Troy Moses; one son, Jeffrey Troy Moses and wife Terri of Sanford; two daughters, Jessie Lucus and husband James of Four Oaks, N.C. and Melinda Moses Carlyle and husband Tony of Cameron; brother, Charles Johnson and wife Debbie of Hampstead; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 26, 2013, from 6:00 ro 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home.
The family will also receive friends 1 hour prior to the funeral service at Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church, Four Oaks, N.C. (10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday). The funeral will be held at Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bob Copeland presiding. Burial will follow at Four Oaks Cemetery.
